My name is Nicolò and I'm an Italian video editor.

​

I've studied 3D Computer Graphics at "BigRock - The Institute of Magic Technologies" in 2014.

After my studies, I spent two years working on commercial spots and short-movies as a video editor for a Sky’s Television channel in Italy.

​

In May 2016, I moved to Australia where I spent six months working as a freelance video editor for Space Hero, a professional Real Estate video-production company located in Brisbane.

​

Along these years I've improved my skills as a video-editor and motiongrapher using many Adobe's Suite programs:

Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and Media Encoder.

​

In September 2017, I came back to Italy, and I started my activity as a freelance video editor working on many projects with different clients.

 

In April 2018 I started a long collaboration with Different Media Productions, a great film production based in Padova.

The backbone of this production was and still is the ability to see things from a different point of view in order to create an engaging variety of content ranging from cycling, fashion, food, and documentary.

During these years, I broaden my horizons and I improved my editing skills also learning a new NLE: Da Vinci Resolve.

This software is great and allows me to express at best my post-production workflow in any sense.

Obviously, for some jobs such as motion graphics animations, I feel more comfortable in After Effects because I grew up playing and working with it.

​

I love to create visual effects in post-production integrating live-action footage and computer-generated imagery.

I always try to keep updated with new technologies in order to be more competitive.

​

All the experiences I've had in my career were strongly inspiring and they let me fully unleash my creativity.

This was also possible thanks to the clever people I've always been surrounded by and also the special and innovative environments.

​

My personal skills include being creative and having the ability to use good judgment and to make great decisions that benefit production.

I'm also a great communicator with active listening skills and the ability to stay positive when receiving negative feedback thanks to my problem-solving attitude.

​

I also have the ability to stay focused and organized while working in a fast-paced video production environment, which can often be very stressful due to the tight deadlines in production.

​

My energetic and outgoing personality makes the connection with other professional workers very easy and it allows me to focus on the goals to achieve.

​

I have a good understanding of the video production pipeline from pre-production to post-production.

 

I'm strongly motivated by the desire to work alongside creative people like me growing my skills in the multimedia field.
